Game on

Hello again. You likely forgot who am I or what I'm doing, but that's fine - I'm back in business now, so to speak, and I'm trying to start the development of this game back up. I wrote a detailed tumblr post on the situation just now, if you want to know more about what I've been up to and why I'm back now. The gist of it is: I was recovering emotionally and not in the best of states, I had some refreshing new experiences and interests, but now I feel driven to get back to development.

I'm leaning towards a partial release at the moment, with the game divided into weeks of the four patients' routes in them and the other two routes being added later. The more weeks the game contains the higher the price would be, but all updates would be free for people who bought the game already. If I put out the game for partial release and then have another hiatus, I will most likely change the price to free since I would feel bad about charging people for something that might never be finished. I feel like new feedback would really motivate me, and it might be fun to see people speculating about content without some "speedrunners" already discussing the endings online. I can say with 100% confidence that my next game after Absolution will be built around an episodic release, it's just how I prefer working to ensure more consistent levels of feedback and motivation.

Okay, with that I hope you are all as excited as I am to dive back into Absolution. Follow me on tumblr or join my discord server to get more frequent updates if you haven't already, I hope to post more very soon.

Lots of love
